those are the smallest cherry bombs i've ever seen.....:burnout:

They amped up,440.The old CVX muffler, they picked up.The middle line turbo mufflers(2.5 inch) are sweet.Installed on my 67 notch Cuda build.Dropped the pipes, not even a tenth on a mid 13 sec 360. Returning to the O.P's post.Shagnasty cool. Love spray.period.With big blocks involved, other lane's headlight's glare in the mirrors disappear quickly.

those are the smallest cherry bombs i've ever seen.....:burnout:yes there a 8inch case 12 inch overall worked out well for me i dindnt want much restriction just a little back pressure and to quite her a little while tuning ,there the only 3.5 in and out i found wanted ones with a collector flange but they only come in 2.5 inch in and out so i welded on a 3.5 inch collector flange, nice and simple ,might put on some turnouts but local auto parts store doesnt have them with 3.5 id opening ,found some on summit for $38 each to much for a simple natural finish turnout.I think there a cool old skool easy add on but all my tastes and thoughts seem to be outdated 60s 70s dinasoure day technology compaired to the barret - jackson types of the car world today!

The car's not THAT loud Roger...lol. It is making me think about a bracket car tho...lol.

A note on your fuel system. If you are running the carb and NOS on the single fuel line, you will want to use a Y block befire the regulators. And - you want a regulator for the carb and a regulator for the NOS. You do NOT want to run 9psi for the NOS, and you don;t want to run 4-5PSI for the carb. The best situation is a second fuel system for the NOS.

i have 2 holley blue pumps 1/2 braided line into a a two way seperate fuel line to carb and nitrous as for the exhaust i havent ran it yet with the cherry bombs, you heard it with street mufflers im hoping it sounds cool, may race with open headers ill have to remove the cherrybombs to get her on the trailer stiil thinking of geetiing a permanate plate on her and tear up our little town. i run 6psi to carb. build one dave ill run on the rt 6 xtention at 2 AM

may i suggest that you mount your nos solenoids to a bracket. the engine vibration might break the steel #3 after awhile.
let us know how she runs after the snow melts up there?

Yeah - nothing on the books for this year. Kelly's still waiting (less and less patiently) for me to get the Cuda squared away and get back to work on the house. Then there's my own need to replace the Neon so as much as I feel like I'm finally getting ahead of things - I've got other stuff before the cars. But - If you want to make a pass I'll set it up so it's clear and record it from my front porch...lol. I'll bet it sounds cool from a mile or two away...lol.

Dave theres a 96 neon for sale on rt 6 in Andover for 800 says motor makes noises was thinking it might make a good vehicle to go back and forth to work ,whats the mpg on those things.

I've had my '97 since 2004. It's got over 250K hard miles and abuse and it gets 30+mpg (DOHC/5sp). In fact, I'm looking to replace it with another lower mileage first gen Neon. I love them. A SOHC/auto won't get that good a mileage, and I've avoid anything that has "engine noise".
