no brake lights?

on my 64 dart rear tail lights, i have running lights and blinkers, but no brake lights. i'm thinking that the switch is bad down on the pedal? are replacements available or do i need to do some hunting?

You will need to know if the switch pushes into the mounting bracket or is threaded, but it will cost you around $5 at your local parts store.

Check your fuses as the brake lights are off of a constant hot feed and the turn signals are fed from a switched feed. Also might try pressing the brake pedal with the key off and wiggling the turn signal lever to see if either brake light comes on which could indicate the problem is in the turn signal switch and not the brake light switch.
