Hello,

I'm in the process of swapping out my 72 Dart 9" drums, with a disk kit from a 73 swinger. I went to town on it replacing just about everything (upper control, tie rods, idler arm, etc.) After bleeding the brakes many times the pedal still goes right to the floor.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions on how to remedy the problem?

Thanks!

crack the bleeders open and let gravity take over. just keep the m/c full......

I may have put the calipers on wrong. From what I've read the bleeder needs to be on top. The way I have it set up the bleeder is on the lower side. Could this be a problem?

Absolutely. Should just have to switch them side for side.

Update:

The problem lied within the calipers upside down. Bleeder on the top.

Also I did not put a new booster on. The dart is now manual disc and it stops with minimal pressure. I did not have to swap out the proportioning valve, and it works great.
