Our Nostalgia Drag Racing Association is looking for you! We will be holding a series of 9 race events primarily at Lebanon Valley Dragway in West Lebanon, NY throughout the 2009 season. Take a look at our website for further info. www.nendra.com

Thanks for all the great words in email and PM. As many of you stated, (and thank you) this is a great combination of makes/models and our rules seem be liked very much by most of you. This association fills the void for those that don't just want to race with bunch of Heavy Eliminator cars and fit the rules as the way Stock and Super Stock cars look. Not everyone has or wants a Nostalgia S/S car and not everyone can race in the F.A.S.T. classes. We welcome you to join us and have some fun racing in the North East. Hope to race with you soon.

Event #1 in the 2009 NENDRA racing series got off to a strange start. With the threat of weekend rain in the forecast all week, car count for the first event of the year was low. But, that did not take away from a great day of racing. Congratulations to JKGTX (Jeff) for taking the win and Chris "SUPERSTOCKRACER" taking runner-up at the first event of the year. I'm sure everyone has heard of the tragic Lebanon Valley damage. Chris and I have been proactive in making sure our racing season would go on. I will be updating the Nendra site later today but here is what we have for a new schedule. Thanks to Chris for making this happen so fast and of course to Tony at Island Dragway for being a fan and doing whatever it takes to bring us down there.

We hope Lebanon Valley can get back up to 100% operation. If they do, we will resume our original schedule. Chris felt he had a responsibility to the Nendra members to provide a guaranteed racing venue. A big thanks again to Tony at Island for giving us that.

The season is right around the corner but us here in the Northeast would not know it. More snow ahhhh !!! Anyway NENDRA is entering year three. Had our open house 2 weeks ago and have grown again. This year we have a 15 event schedule (last year was 9). Here is a photo of our schedule. Always looking for more Mopars to get in on the fun. 2009 had 2 Mopars come out on top so all the bowties and blue ovals are gearing up.
