Hi, everyone. I had listed these earlier, but I'd like to update the ad. The original ad is closed to edits or replies, so I marked it "SOLD" to avoid confusion.
A forum member at slantsix.org observed that the small base BBD will not fit the large 2 bbl manifold used on the 361 or 383 engines. I apologize if my original listing mislead anyone; that was not my intention. I'm still learning!
I changed the eBay listing title to "NOS Carter BBD 6537s Carburetor 273 318 V8 or 170 198 225 Slant Six," removed all mention of 361's and 383's in the description, and added a caveat about the choke linkage to prevent any surprises. I made the same changes to the Craigslist ad.
My understanding is that the 6537s is set up with the 318 in mind, but it can be tuned to work on a slant without changing any parts out (Super Six).

One (1) genuine Carter BBD 6537s 2-barrel carburetor in new old stock (NOS) condition for $269. This item has never been installed, used, modified, rebuilt, or remanufactured. It's still in the original plastic wrap from the factory. The color photo shows two carburetors; the $269 price is for a single carburetor of the type shown, in the condition shown.
The Carter BBD 6537s was original equipment on some 1974-1976 Dodge trucks with 318ci V8 engines. It features small holes in the throttle blades to improve idle quality (see B&W photo).
This carburetor will fit many applications, including some "slant six" (Chrysler OHV 225ci, 198ci, and 170ci inline-6 engine) setups. Note the choke linkage will need a minor modification to work with slant six engines. BBD's also fit some 273ci Chrysler V8s. I can try to help you figure out if it will fit your car or truck.
If you want a perfectly-matched set of these for a multiple-carb build, I can hook you up. If you're crazy enough to build a quadruple-carb intake, I can sell you four mechanically identical NOS carbs.
I should be able to ship your carburetor(s) within three business days of cleared payment, but please keep in mind that the current global health crisis may cause delays in delivery.
