just bought a 73 winnabago with a 440 and it wont start with the key the fellow changed the starter solenoid but i think he did it wron he has the bat and starter cable on one large post small white wire to small post and 2 other smaller wires to the other large post??are the starter and bat not supposed to be on opposite sides?? frustrated and google has nothing!!!

Can't you then just jump the solenoid? If it's a ford solenoid I would think both the ires to the starter would be on the same post of the ford solenoid.
