There is a big show in Elizabeth, Ky tomorrow and they had a poker run tonight and some cars cruising downtown.

There was a 69 2 door dart with a 6 pak hood, so turn in where it is sitting to get a better look. It was a nice looking 20' er, but once you look thru the hood and see a couple of air filters sticking up to almost the top of the scoop. Then spy the front plate and something about Chevy. Well couldn't believe it, so went back to my car and a few minutes later the owner and friend walk over to the car and he pops the hood. I had to look, walk over and the was a dual quad small block puck, yuck, puck Chevy, Puck some more in the engine compartment.

Told my wife and she said, "why would someone do that"

I mean a nice car so I ask, "why would someone do that?" But sitting close enough to him and listening to him he was a true Chevy guy, should have bought a nova

A nova cost more than a valiant (66-67 costing the more).

i dont see the problem, that swap probably took more engineringskills to do than swaping a /6 for another random 408stroker. call me weird but i have thought about a 351clevelandswap into my duster, but im just to damn lazy to actualy do it.

I mentioned it in another thread, but I have to repeat myself here: Seeing a Chevy engine in a Mopar is like seeing a fat guy wearing a Speedo on the beach. Sure, it fits, but you're scared to look any closer because of what else you might see...

When he opened the hood, i bet it felt like you walked into a gay bar by accident. :colors:

A Valiant is a much stronger unibody platform than a nova for one thing...

...and handles better...

lol

That's a good description. This guy's reaction to Bill Murray's hug pretty much sums up how I feel when I see a Chibby SB in a Mopar:
