I discovered this summer my Duster would start in gear.........I bought a new neutral safety switch and installed it yesterday and still have the same issue. Followed wiring up to the firewall and discovered one of the three wires was taped up in the harness. The other two are plugged into a connector with a shallow V shape. From searching the forum it appears the wire I found taped up goes to the starter relay. One terminal on the relay has been grounded........see pictures. Am I on the right track here??
thanks in advance

YES. Unhook the "push on" terminal on the relay that is grounded. That terminal should lead down to the center terminal of your NSS

bingo , should probably be that brown wire we see looped into the harness in the first pic , get rid of that black wire pig tail that is grounding out and plug the brown wire into the connector in its place , throw the black wire away and your back to stock .

Got it done....works properly now. Thanks cannucky, 67Dart273 and forabodiesonly.
