I really just need advice on nuts as I don’t have the right ones

do these kits for E bodies on Mancini fit our A-Bodies? Mancini Racing Under Hood Bolt Kit

Really I just need a bunch of zinc phosphate flange nuts in different sizes because I don’t like the look of the grade 8 gold bolts. Where do you buy them in bulk? Amazon?

That’s what I am looking at but they are serrated and not flat? Will that scratch the paint? Or is there a good way to prevent scratching the paint?

I need to not take stuff off after tightening it lol.

Do you use the serrated ones now or do buy the flat face ones for 5x the cost?

BTW, i agree on those nuts, the don't look right.. have to be flange. I never worry much bout it since it's the paint under the nut that gets scratched

I edited my post to a Chrysler specific link so now their are 2 different links but that's okay. Good prices for sure.
yeah that's better than all the amazon **** i bought and better selection.. i'm annoyed :) I wish i had room for a whole bolt/nut wall... i'm never building another car though

Problem for me is i use amazon for work stuff and i have like $1300 in points right now just for junk..it's just easy to go on there and order crap.

I’m building a wall for nuts and bolts, I ordered a bunch of bins the other day in a couple different sizes. I’m tired of bolts and nuts and stuff just being everywhere and half the time not labeled. I’m going to organize the **** out of this.

yeah.. my garage isn't quite that bad... but it's bad. i keep the workbench cleaned off.. and i also keep a layer of fresh cardboard on it... started doing that to soak up trans fluid but i keep it like that all the time now, just a instant clean surface.

those are just nuts with a captured washer. anything will do, really. but if you want it like ma sent it from the factory then you can track those down pretty easy.

they are commonly called keps nuts or nuts with belville washers or sometimes track nuts.

I've purchased dash fasteners from an outfit called Partsmix. There are some oddball screws and nuts used in the dash they had available during Covid. They had other kits available. Not sure if they sell engine bay stuff.

It’s only bad now, it was clean last week but I’ve been taking stuff apart and I brought in 2 trays of bolts from the other shop earlier in the week.

I’ll clean it all up shortly. I also have a rack coming for the power tools, since my other power tool rack is in the other shop.

it's amazing how **** piles up... my garage is only like 20x36 or something.. 2 cars deep and 2.5 wide.. which sounds great til you have lawncare ****, my daily car.. and my 62.. then tools. I'm just lucky it's really deep, gives me some room

lol I have 2 shops full of **** a 40x40 and 30x40 and I have a barn like 50x120…. Lots of ****…

Got some bins to clean up the little nuts and bolts… the worst part is labeling stuff. I have a label machine at the office I may have my employees make a crap ton of labels for the bolt sizes…
