Came up with a really cool LA curved HEI Mopar distributor, curve specs are on the sheet in distributor degrees. Uses a HEI coil of about .3 ohms and 12VDC say a jumped ballast resistor. open the plugs up to .050 and go! Asking $300 and the ride.

I hope it’s ok to ask here, but do you have a similar option for the slant six distributor? There is pretty limited space between the oil filter/splash shield/vacuum can but maybe it’s possible?

The mount wont fit but you can mount the hei on a heatsink on the fenderwell. I can curve it any way you would want.

Actually working one one now.
Ray, I’m sorry I completely forgot I wanted to call you yesterday morning. I’m excited to see what you have come up with after our conversation, I think there are a few slant sixers out there that would appreciate a well thought out HEI kit…at least one!

Why "say"? What does that mean in regards to the ballast resistor?

Either jump the back of it to electrically eliminate it or take it off and splice the wires.

I get it, and not to be the grammar police, read your original post, where my reply was actually supposed to be to perhaps find the answer to my question.

The wires that go through the ballast should be spliced together. In your case easier just to jump both sides for the front or back. Then the 12V to the 4 pin
