So I'm putting this intake together and it says that I need to go 2 sizes smaller on the jets for the 1BBL carbs. I'm just using the stocker Carters so I dont know where to get the smaller jets from? Any one know where they can be found?

Anything done to the engine? If not the I would agree with smaller jets. Or you can increase your exhaust to 2 1/4 and leave the jets where they are.
Tell us a little about your setup.

Hi Frank, Its over all a stock set up nothing done to the engine and I do plan with going to the 2 1/4 exhaust.
So your saying I will be fine with this set up then......

If you had headers on it,you could get away with not rejetting. Headers tend to lean a motor out...

I think thats what Frank is probably getting at with the 2 1/4 exhaust. It would be the easiest way to go about it and I planned on that any way. So I'll probably try that to begin with.

The engine in on the stand stripped and being cleaned up for paint. all the bolt on stuff is in a box ready to be sent off to cuda chick for cleaning and powdercoat.

The slant is really restricted in its breathing. So you can increase the flow by installing the 2 1/4 exhaust. This will come out about right for the 2bbl (or 2 1bbl) carb. Then if you ever need to open the engine up your set up to increase the compression and bigger valves and cam.
