Oil cut off plug under rear main cap.

Have any of you guys knocked that plug out for before hot tanking, then reused the same plug with out issues…?
If you did reuse that plug, did you put any Loctite on it or just tap it back in dry?…

I always put some kinda sealant around those. I guess if it fits tight still, use it.......but the consequences of it coming loose....I'm not sure I'd chance it.

yup, we pulled mine out for cleaning. remember putting it back in but forget if we put anything on it.

I have never taken them out but have gave them a good cleaning even after hot tanking. Never had an oil pressure problem ever. Kim
