The tube shown in the pictures was installed at the dealership the first time my Dad took his 1970 Dart in for service. When he asked about it, the mechanic told him that they put them aon all the AC equipped cars to make it easier to change the oil without spilling it all over the engine.

I would like to buy a couple more of these if available

I get mine off of late 80s pickups, same thing only they just have a slight bend to them so the filler cap is horizontal. Vans have an even longer one that comes all the way to the front of the engine.
 
i just looked on mopar parts giant on 86 diplomat. part number is 4173223. prof fate is correct. they are slightly bent. one one ebay by above pn for 39.99.

True. But at least it's not a plastic cap-it does have a metal push-on stovepipe type cap that looks at home on a period engine.
