Had a look through the old thread's on remote oil filters, I will defiantly run one as I can't cut into the mount or k-frame for engineering purposes. I also notice you can run anywhere between $20-350 for a kit. I plan on running braided hoses down the track but more concerned about the filter bracket. Would something like this suffice?

Says you need to use this Fram1 filter with it, not sure why you'd think as long as you get the right thread size you could use any filter right?

This seems like the cheapest option out there and then you can work out/make up your own lines and fittings?

Just need to clarify so I can put my order in.

I have one of there kits. Pay attention to the inside of the mount and beware of flashing on the casting. You may want to port it as well. The oil filter gasket size (Diameter) is the key on running other filters. Currently, I'm running a Mobil filter. IIRC, it is a M-301.

I grabed there kit with line, since I had no line. It was cheap enuff as a kit that included all needed parts. Running your own fittings and hose for a customized fit is a great idea, cheaper? IDK. If ya have the hardware allready, great. There kit came with 4 straight brass fittings and worm clamps to tighten down the rubber hose.

Just make sure the oil filter gets hot from running the engine. If it doesn't get hot, the oil lines are reversed.
