oil out of exhaust

I have a bit of black smoke coming out of exhaust and tonight i had some oil shoot out of the tail pipe as well. Any ideas?

valve seats, valve guides, valve seals, leaking intake (sucks oil into intake from valley),

I bet what you refer to as oil shooting out the exhaust is really, sooty condensation.

(Running a little rich + the colder weather can do this)


If it really is actual engine oil passing all the way out your tail pipe you have serious issues.

X2 Besides, overly rich will blow black smoke but oil will puke blue smoke.
