Oil pan help!! Spoke with Mike @ Schumacher

Spoke with Mike @ Schumacher yesterday. He said 187, 699 & 971 were the pans to use. He said 187 & 699 were no longer available as new, but that the 971 pan is. They have the 971 in stock for $185.00 with pick up tube. My question is this: Does anyone know the OEM part number for the 971? I want to get a price from my local dealer and Mike wouldn't give it to me. :wack:

Does the 971 come with baffles and what's the oil capacity?

I believe Mike said it did have baffles, but he talked like they were not that great. The 971 was a stock pan for B-body big blocks, so I would assume it would hold the same amount as stock.
 
You might want to post in the wanted section for a 187, some of the guys might be able to help you. Good luck.
