oil pan ?

Was just looking into a oil pan gasket for my 360.
Looked up MP part # P44542093. It is there race gasket.
There was a side bar note that says 2 gaskets required if you are using the factory windage tray.

Anybody with a windage tray doing this?
Wouldnt the end gaskets sit to high to seal ?

Having a little seal issue on the car. Not sure yet if it is just the pan or the rear main seal.I am running a windage tray. Maybe this is the problem ?

Are you sure you didn't look at a big block gasket? The windage tray on big blocks fit between the block and the pan, so a gasket is necessary on either side of the windage tray. I believe small block windage trays bolt to the main caps some way, so an extra gasket is not necessary.

I think Rklein is right. You do need 2 gaskets on a big block with a windage tray but you don't on small blocks cause the windage tray fits inside the pan.

I just looked at Mopar small block race gaskets the other day on a couple sites and neither said anything about needing 2 of them.
