Oil passage Plug under #5 cap

Putting my sons 372" together today and no plug was found. I put in a 19/32 plug. Went down 1.750 from cap face. It's between the top hole and lower hole looking through the oil filter holes? The plug bottomed out. Going with its good?

Yep that's the one...looks like I'm good. It's a bit shallower than what some say but it's between the 2 holes right of the oil filter adapter plug with the block flipped upside down on the stand.

Man that plug is pretty important. It routes the oil thru the filter. Did the last guy not have it in there or what?

It wasn't in there when I checked. This motor had issues when my kid bought it. Just trying to make sure everything is good. Went through all the bearing clearances and everything is good there. I opened up all the oil passages per guitar jones post.
