Hi All. I have to run a remote oil filter due to right hand drive here down under. I have mounted the oil filter assembly on the "driver" side guard inside the engiune bay for easy access to remove and replace filter. But I get noise transmitted through the oil lines onto the inner guard when the oil warms up. Its quite annoying and it sounds like a gear drive which winds up and down with engine revs. Has anyone had this ploblem? I have used rubber bushings to mount the filter assy and the noise has reduced but it is not completly eliminated. When I unbolt the filter assy and supend it off the guard there is no noise at all when I test drive the car. I am wondering if this is a problem or can I just leave it if I can put up with the noise.
Cheers.
