would anyone have an old erson cam spec catalog ? I need to know the specs of this erson cam > This is what is stamped on the end of the cam
1m286y it's a high flow cam for a 273 mopar sb.

I did call erson cams and john gave me a website to look some info up but didn't find what I was searching for . john gave a number of E420-721 .... this number I could not find info on but e410721 had some info . I think he typed the wrong number in . hate to keep bothering him. I need to know what the cam card specs are expecially duration , llft and valve lash .
Thanks guys !
john

I don't understand why PBM doesn't have to old cam cards and part#'s. I tried to find the specs for a late 70's vintage BB hydraulic to no avail.
good luck on your search, most of what you will find is for the hi-flo series. Erson had some nice split pattern cams in the late 70's early 80's.

There's a 420306 but it would be too big for a 273.
  • Hi-Flow AM

  • Advertised Duration 286°/294°
  • Duration @ .050 Lift 242/246 deg int/exh

TMM sure looks like a narrow lobe version, of Harvey Cranes work... These questions, are exactly why , I gather old speed equipment cataloging....

from what I am gathering from looking at these cam profiles . the number that is stamped on the cam end ( mine = 1m286y ) will be the advertised duration. 286* .My guess.

according to my old erson catalog. it's a high flow Im. 286/240 duration, .492 lift, .022 lash. cam part # is 420721. says, it's a hi lift , short duration,, delivers strong power from 2000 to 7000, good idle, good for auto with gears.
