On leaf springs, how do you know what size of front eye bolts you have?

On leaf springs, how do you know if you got 1/2" size front eye bolts or 5/8"?.. Is the head bigger on the 5/8"?

A 3/4 socket fits it!

Is there any threads sticking out the other side? That will give you an idea. Or take the bolt out and measure, that way you know for sure.
