Wagner "Next up on Pass Time we have a 67 Dart. Can you tell us a little about your car?"
Owner "It is a Dodge Dart 270 with a junk yard, late 80s 360 which I am trying to pass off as a 273. It has a 904 trans and a 7 1/4" open rear end with 2.76 gears."

Wagner "Well contestant #1, what is your question for the owner here"
Contestant #1 "Are you running any power adders?"
Owner "No"
Wagner "Contestant #2, do you have a question?"
Contestant #2 "How many times have you taken this car down the track?"
Owner "This will be the first time."
Wagner "Ken?"
Ken "Uh....what tire are you running on the back?"
Owner "195-65R-14s"
Wagner "Please lock in your times"

**cue Paige looking disgusted at the old Mopar **

Wagner "All right, let see those times."

So what do you think it will run?

I predict there will be no time because there will be loud crunching noises emmitted from the 7.25 rear end just before it stops moving off the starting line and has to be pushed off the track. Hope you plan on trailering it to the track.

I think he would get away with a few passes. I did on a similar setup

Good post, I like it. What alttitude is the track you are running at, or do we not get to ask any quesions?

I will be making my runs at Gateway Raceway. The starting line is 407 ft above sea level. Last weekend the heat (92F) and the humidity (52%) had the density altitude at around 2800 ft.

0, the fuel line is NOT hooked up!

You Sir, are the winner....

No distributor cap or plug wires either and the battery is NOT connected, no fan or fan belt! haaaaaaaaa

I stopped looking once I saw the fuel line.....:bootysha:

You have discovered my secret! The air cleaner hides the flux capacitor. The garbage reculminator is hidden in the trunk. I just need to insert the kaniphlilin pin in order for it to start.

I am lucky enough to have an 8 3/4 for an A body with all new parts and 3.91 gears waiting for the next round of modifications

I'm gonna say low 16s. Like 16.2.

The car is gonna boil those skinny tires and kill any change of a good time

15.00 @ 91mph
I am thinking this is a bone stock motor, with the STOCK CAM.

Cue the European siren sound for Catastrophic failure, as it breaks spider gear coming out of water box.

Hopefully he'll drive around the water and skip the burnout. Wet street tires don't really hook that good and doing a burnout on street tires isn't going to make them stick any better.

Was there a memo that the font was too small here and members were having a hard time reading it? Because if there was I missed it.
