I am getting ready to enter the final phase of my car build...the rear axle. At the same time I plan on replacing the master cylinder, installing a brake booster, and I would like to convert to rear disc.

I was looking at buying a TSM Mfg. rear disc conversion it, but I have heard a few bad things about them. Is anyone using them, and what is your experience with them?

Vehicle:
75 Dart Sport
BBP wheels
8.25 axle front disc/rear drum (aren't they all)

This is a street car, with only occasional track use. I have thought about just rebuilding the drum setup, and using the money saved to get a set of front discs cryogenically treated with some good ceramic pads, since the front brakes take the brunt of the abuse. (I already have new front calipers).

I'm running the Wilwood rear disc brake kit. This kit has an emegergency barke built into it as well. The thing is it's only made for the 8 3/4 or Dana, not the 8 1/4. I'm running their big disc kit up front as well.
If I were you I would just go get a big brake package for the front, I think you also need 16 inch rims to fit over their big disc. (11 3/4" rotors) But they do make a kit with 10 3/4 rotors for 15" wheels.

Missing a few lug nuts are we??

I already have the 15" wheels I wanted (Draglites) so I'd have to go with the small kit. I really don't think the car has any problems stopping, I was just wanting to ditch the rear drum setup...I will check into it though.
