ordering tti headers

well i tried to order my tti headers this morning....and didnt realize that this guy needed a hlaf a day to figure out how to order them...whats the hard part about it...i said i have a 1969 valiant....but the motor is a 1972 340. i have j heads, so i need the 1 and 5/8 step tube headers...with the header reducers, botls and gaskets...i even told him the part number is tti340ac-1 why is this harder than this?...anyone had any problems ordering these...im going through the paddock

I ordered mine directly from TTI. No problems!

I agree with AdamR ordering from Mancini is the best and cheapest route. TTi direct is about $20-$30 more and you get them at the same time as Mancini. Installing these are a breeze and fit like a glove it is worth the money.
 
i know they come with destructions....but has anyone tried or is it possible to drop the engine in with headers on?

Yeah you can install the engine from the bottom with the headers on. Usually better to leave the passenger side off since it is the easiest to install. Probably more work than you want to do.
 
When I put the small block in my Duster, I put both tti headers in position and tied them out to side. Engine went in fairly easy from top.
