I bought a pair of sbp Wheel Vintiques 15" X 7" Rallye wheels from FABO member 72Dart6pack. The wheels had old (2007) BFG Radial T/A P235-70R15 tires on them.

I don't need a high performance tire (ice cream parlor cruiser), or a high mileage tire (I average about 3,000 miles a year) and I'm not looking to spend a fortune on them.

What are some suggestions?

Cooper Cobra's. They run a little over $120 from Summit.

Go to TireRack.com and do a search by tire size, lots of pretty good options. Mine are Firestones and they're great, but now can't get them except through Coker. $$.

Firestone Destination A/T is still available in that size.
Might not be when its replaced with the version 2.

This is the 235/75 profile, since photo moved to the rear axle.
Will replace before driving in snow.
They'll wear more evenly with an independent suspension. :)

For starters, with 15" wheels go to a 60 series tire.
In regards to tire sizes, we need more info.
What car are these going on ?
15"s on the front to ?
Do you want a staggered tire set up, or same size all around?

If its the 71 Swinger in your post, and I'm running to the ice cream parlour, I'm going with a 215/60-15 BFG TA Radial all around.
If you want to stagger them, you can go with a 215/60 up front and a 225/60 or 235/60 in the back.

Yes, it's for the rear of my '71 Dart GT with the factory installed 8 3/4" using Mancini Racing 2800lb SS springs (courtesy of the previous owner).

The tires on these wheels were 13 years old 235/70R15 BFG T/As.

They fit well and clear everything so I'd like to stay with the same size. However, I'd like to find a softer riding tire.

The fronts will remain 14" X 5 1/2" Rallye wheels with 195/75R15 tires.

I'm going with the galaxy r1 tires that rusty recommended. My original plans were the cobras but after reading reviews alot of people claim they stick better than the cobras and they are 100 dollars cheaper.
