I know a few Chevy guys who have restored their Corvettes and Camaros and have chosen a dark gray metallic that Toyota used on Corollas around 2010. Perhaps it's similar to the grays in those two pictures you posted?

Ok thanks I will check that colour out, see if it's a near match.

no way to tell what car company used those paint colors.. your best bet is to go to a paint supply house and look though their paint chip books.. or as ya drive around take note of colors ya like and write down what kind of car they are on.. atleast that would narrow it down some for ya.

They both look like fresh paint jobs. I would track down the owners and ask.

I think you'd like a current Ford color called "Magnetic". It looks great on the right car.

I have a mineral gray metallic code which is 6217 from PPG/Ditzler.

Nice thing is you can go to any Ford dealer and see it in real life. I know the color is available on most of their vehicles.

Yes that's true. There some nice Porsche greys colours, but no dealer in my neighbourhood. Like to see the colour in real life.
