Paint help

Ok I plan to stop down at the local NAPA and get a quart of paint to finish my engine bay. My question is this. I need reducer and Hardner as well. Now I have some Hardner left over from my Epoxy primer will that work for the hardner?

All hardener is Isocyanite but the formula is where the difference may be so if you can paint a inconspicuous place or better yet another piece of metal with what you have and it works, then you've got your answer.
