Painting Underside

For you guys who have repainted the underside of your cars.......... how did you prep it? I am getting ready to tear into mine and an looking for advice from others. The car is on a rotisserie and it is completely stripped. What I am thinking........ wire wheel as much as I can get at. Just 'cuz I love the mess that it makes!! Then bust out the pressure pot sand blaster and get after all the tight areas like the rocker/floor intersections and regions like that. Then a couple of good coats of epoxy and then ocver it with single stage body color.

I know that the outcome of a paint job is all in the prep so I am looking for suggestions of what has worked well for others. Thanks guys! L8r

Sound like you are on it. I am starting to lean towards finishing the bottom in a "primer" color top--coat finish with the body overspray.
