first question is: does any one have a picture of where the parking lamp ground attaches too behind the grill? 2nd question is: I was taking my 8 3/4 drum's, axle's and backing plate's off to get it ready to assemble a disc brake kit. and this part falls to the floor and I have found out that it is the axle locking pawl and I have no idea where it goes. a picture of that would also be nice! Will I need to install it after putting disc brakes on? This is my first Duster (MOPAR) that I have worked on and I did not take it apart so as you can guess I am not having a lot of fun here, not to mention all the missing parts, and the ones I do have, I have, not a clue to what they are or where they go! some one thru the instructions away HA HA

If it's what I think you're talking about it is secured to one of the RH axle nuts after you've adjusted the end play on the axle if you're using the tapered axle bearings. Some disc conversions use green bearings so the adjuster lock is not used. My disc conversion uses it and is assembled so can't get you a pic. Regular drum brakes 8.75 rear ends with tapered bearing all use the lock so someone is surely able to get a pic for you.

ok thanks, did you mean secured to RH axle stud with flange nut?. my new axles have the green bearings so I guess that I understand that I will not be using the pawl? what about where the ground wire on parking lights attaches to?

Green bearing are not adjustable so you won't be using the lock (which is secured with one of the axle nuts if used).

Can't answer your question on the parking light ground as I'm really only familiar with early A's (especially 65's). If there is no extra wire then it probably grounds through the light housing - that's what it does on the 65's. Good luck with your project!
