Awesome! Dave did you ever get additional pictures? That car has so much potential being black/black big block 4 spd with fender tag. Glad to see it go to good home.

Congrats on the purchase! Now we will not have to listen to threats of parting it out, crushing it, or throwing it into a volcano, etc.

I am sure it is going to a good home. Perhaps you will post pics when is shows since the previous owner was not as inclined.

hang on let me think on this!!! so what you have is a 383 4 speed matching numbers car? you have the engine trans in good shape? whats under the hood and inside the car look like? can i see some pics im not done with my dart yet buuuut geeezwiz i hate to see it get cut up besides you start cutting on it it might take a year to get all the parts gone send me some more pics well never mind i guess i didnt read far enough down lol good job dave

Well done Dave! Whats the plan?

i have others ahead of it. i like to do first. i am going to fix the engine bay. paint it. install engine and trans. fix were they where going to tube the car. their is a cross over frame rail installed. i am going to cut that out and fix the the floor. install the interior and drive it the way it is for now. if i do not do at least this the car will end up sitting. i want get it running as fast as possible.

its been tough for me. i injured myself and its been a long process. i have to have another operation in October. what sucks is i have 3 cars that are 95 to 99% ready for the road and this bump in the road has slowed everything down.

it should be here in a couple of days.

some pics. i have a lot more

thats a bad *** mo fo, its so great to see that car being saved. it doesnt look too too bad... hats off to you , you are the man. love this thing

Need a complete engine? See if these are the correct numbers for the car. 383-4V, D383, PT 383 P2261001, block cast 2468130. I don't have it but I can put you in touch with the owner. There is more tan one available and at least 2 of them are complete and running. One of them has a 8/4/69 cast date. Priced at $1000 each. Send a PM if you would like the contact information.

I forgot this was a 68 instead of a 69 when I posted the casting date but there is another earlier casting date also.

The barracuda is in my garage.
When I start to work on to it, i will start a new post

I see your other Barracuda has California plates. Are you allowed to run them in your state? Did they come with the car? Reason I ask is typically it is three letters followed by three numbers for passenger car plates of that vintage.

Nice workshop the Barracuda seems in capable hands.
