I am deciding which heads to go with.. Which heads do you guys think are better.. The Performer RPM heads or the new magnum heads?

Thanks

Do you already have an intake and valvetrain? The new Magnum heads require different components than the older LA heads.

Heres the deal... I bought a set of magnum heads from a junk yard off of a durango. I sent them to the machine shop and had them freshened up. I was then thinking about getting a set of aluminum heads.. So i sold my iron heads.. I bought the M1 magnum intake but i could always sell that. I just want to know which heads will wor better on my procharged small block..

Also the magnums use small block chevy rockers with are cheap.

i´m realy not that good on spurcharged engines but you could have both magnum and edelbrock rpm heads at the same time, edelbrock has there performer rpm magnum heads;)

I would go with the regular RPM heads, non- magnum. WHY?!?!? Better flow numbers under curve on a OOTB condition. Screw the extra lift with the 1.6 rockers on a older block. You can have that ground in the cam. After that, ask a head port which one does better after they get done with it.

Then again, I wouldn't touch them next to a set of big port comandos.

If your going to super charge it go with wich ever has a better exhaust port.
