Petty item question

Ok, this seems petty but,
why the hell wont my ash tray stay up?
I replaced the evap, and took the ash tray out during the process. used it as a bolt catcher.
Buttoned things up and put the ash tray back, now the damn thing wont stay up. :banghead:
Any ideas?

Try putting a Viagra in the ashtray. But if you are unable to get it to come down for more than 4 hours, see a mechanic.
