The heads may be a little over the top. We'll see...........

That is some nice looking stuff there. What's a setup like that set you back? I know it's more than the wife would allow. LOL

Are those W9s on top ?

Jck, I think the block is around $2000?

C'mon, you were thinking about it. If I told you they were only $800 you would have one next week, LOL

By the way, They are alot heavier then a stock block.

Wow, it`s built like a tank, 4 bolt mains and a ton of metal around the lifters, sweeeet! That engine looks fast just sitting there, lol, that`s going to be one hell of a ride!

YEA! What heads are those?
Looks sweet man!

Well, maybe Adam, seeing as how I just spent $800 on a new cam, lifters, push rods, stud conversion kit and some roller rockers. LOL

I wanna say they are about 50lbs heavier then a stock block but I may be off.
Ryan Johnson of Shadydell has a CNC program to lighten them though.

It looks like the repro 340 is a modified R block. For your application it's to bad they milled off the additional head bolt bosses.

It is a resto block. And it's very close to the early R blocks.
As for price, I paid (quickly I might add) 1000 Canadian.
It's easily 30/40 pounds heavier than stock. I don't mind.
The heads are W7's cnc ported by Chapman. I don't know if I'm going with them. They're a little big for a car that's built to run 10.0's........
Those heads are actually built for the 48 degree block, although they will work. I'm considering Indy's........
