When pulling my 833 trans to rebuild, I ordered a new throw-out bearing fork return spring. The old one was rusted, stretched and worn looking. The new spring has a hook on one end close to the spring coils and the other hook on an extended straight section.

I know where the attach point is on the bell housing. Where is the attach point on the fork?

Thanks!

There is a slice in the fork at the top , at the end by the adj. rod. If you cannot see it, run your finger across the top by the end and you should feel it. If I was at the garage I would snap a picture. This could be part of your shift problem, clutch adj.
