Arch is gone on my 40+ yo SS springs. I run 28” tall drag radials so I’m thinking +2” springs would be best. But let’s see some pics with tire size.. thanks
Did you move the rear axle back at all or open up the wheel opening? I can't fit a 29" tire on my Duster unless I do....SS 002 003 springs mini tubbed with 29x14.5 tires on 12 inch rims

Yes, not much separation or rear body lift when taking off hard or brake torque, kind of a bouncy/ bottoming feel when driving.I think it looks Good. Are you having a problem with hooking up?
Hey Mike,
Got MT SS ET's (28.8") 275/60 R15's on SBP 15's. My springs came with the car but appear to be old SS'ers standard location. With your offset spring setup, guessing you can get a lot more tire in there if you want/need to.
Be well,
Pat

Hi Pat, the offset is about 3/4” I run nitto DR 275/60/15 that are about 28” tall, but actually it almost looks like they slightly rub the spring, these nitros have a bulbous side wall, I have the repop 15x8 rally rims which has I think 4.5” backspace. I’d like to check out your car. Let’s try connect soon ..I'm not sure what springs @jimjimjimmy is running, (SS 002/003's maybe). But I do know he has the offset shackles and is running 325-50-15 Nitto 555's on his 70 Duster if that is any help to you.

Cut 3/4 " off the front and moved the hangers back 1/2 ". Went to 28x14.5 and there was more clearance . The chrome stone guards on the rear were there because the tire would rub on hard dips with the 29's and they protected the paint . They didn't rub at all with the 28's. Here it is with 28x14.5's there was a lot more room.Did you move the rear axle back at all or open up the wheel opening? I can't fit a 29" tire on my Duster unless I do....
Sinister looking. I like it.-1” caltrac mono setup with 275/60/15

We can do that. I want to say my Centerlines are 15x8" w 4.25" back space. Car's on the lift now but we can drop it on the ground so you can take a peek no problem.Hi Pat, the offset is about 3/4” I run nitto DR 275/60/15 that are about 28” tall, but actually it almost looks like they slightly rub the spring, these nitros have a bulbous side wall, I have the repop 15x8 rally rims which has I think 4.5” backspace. I'm getting ready to buy some ESPO +1 springs for my Duster. Can I see what your's looks like? Thanks!I don't have 28" drag radials but I do have +1" springs and the car sits quite a bit higher than I was expecting.
