I have a 73 duster original slant now 318 and this month I'm doing a 8 3/4 rear with new leaf springs. The rear is probably gonna be out of an b b body so it would be an 1 1/2 or so longer on each side and I don't want it to rub, I wanna see some pics of your cars setup and info like what springs are you using I like the stink bug look and tires sticking out but just need the rear a little higher I have 245/60/15...... thanks for your time

lol i no right but seriously id like to see how your car sits in the rear and would like to know what spring are you using and so forth.....

A body 8 3/4" rear with 002-003 Super Stock springs, adjustable spring hangers on the low setting and wedge to correct pinion angle. 255/60-15s on 15x7" Ansen Sprints with 3 1/2" backspacing.

I'm eager to see what kind of "rear" pictures get posted.

731,
while the original missile had the stink bug look with m-50s and air shocks(see avatar), the latest version does not.
It has a custom 4link, Qa1 coilovers with350# springs and a gun drilled anti-sway bar. It has been mini-tubbed and has 17x10.5 mustang rims with 17x315 rubber. The axle was a 8 3/4 (3.23)B body one but it has been cut down to A body length, and a posi was added.

On a low budgit. this is the biggest tire i could get on with a mini tub and factory length rear and keep the tailpipes for appearance. The wheels are 15 X 12 with . The tires are 29 X 14.5 hosier Quicktimes. The gas tank was narrowed 3 inches on the passenger side so the tailpipe would fit. I have a before and after picture on the lift. The exhaust is 2 inch hookers to 3 1/2 pipes through bullit mufflers. The mufflers have turndowns in front of the rear. But I have the tail pipes tied into the bend of the turndowns. So some of the exhaust comes out the back through 2 1/4 tailpipes and Superbee tips. Super stock springs w/snubber but will get cal tracs this year.

Wow A 275/70 in a stock location I have 245/70 on my duster and that seems a little close Im gonna get a bigger tire when I get my 8 3/4 rear this month...

I have 275/60's 15 inch on my other Duster . The springs are in there original location. They are 8 inch small bolt rally wheels with a 4 1/4 backspace.

Will, That is really cool that you are doing this to a Dart. I am sick of seeing the B and E bodies with this type of drive lines. Keep going on it. You have my vote.
