My car has a slight howl and vibration to it when light on gas. I just had driveshaft re-balanced because of it,and that did not change too much. So I think it is pinion angle related,I took all measurements off of u-joint caps and this is what they are. Trans tail shaft is 2.3 degrees down, front of driveshaft is 3.7 degrees down, driveshaft at rear axle is 3.7 degrees down. and rear axle is .5 up. The tool that I am using shows a working angle of 2.3 degrees on rear u-joint (if I did it right). Looking for any opinions if this could be my issue or not. Thanks

Too many measurements. Level the car, or add subtract. Loaded, turn rear pinion yoke up; degree angle measurement. Then end of tranny, vertical.
Should be - 2 to 5 degrees.

Get the Mopar suspension manual. It recommends 5-7 degrees nose down. Mancini has them for 10 bucks.

You want 4 degrees less then the shafts angle, unless you have a ladder or link then you want 1.5 to 2 degrees.

Right now you have 3.7 on the shaft running down, and the pin is .5 +, under excel that could be 4 to 6 + which should give you some vibe under hard excel.

You need to point the pin down 6-.
