I'm looking for a woodgrain pistol grip shifter handle like the one shown in the picture. It has a threaded fitting on the bottom end for threading it onto a shifter that would normally have a ball or T-handle.

I don’t know what happened to the one for sale,I couldn’t leave a message, the seller never replied, then it was marked sold,,very disappointing.I too have been searching for one like it.

You mean the one I had for sale??

I was in a quandary because I really hate when people PM and don't reply in the thread but that's what happened. If I am fair about the order a pm or reply was recieved, then the call stands.

I thought marking it sold was reply enough but I guess an explanation is owed.

It shouldn't be that hard to modify an original one.
Some come up on eBay reasonable at times. grips are good the rest chrome is shot.

Many years ago there was a guy from Peru on moparts that started making custom pistol grips from stainless and exotic woods. I had him make me one and its absolutely beautiful. I think the guys name on moparts was Domingo.
Yeah....looks like he is still active on moparts. PM him and ask if he would do a custom handle. I have no idea if he is still making them.

After going to the pictures of the handle mentioned it looks to be casted out of aluminum using and original handle for a mold. Anyone working in a foundry could do that on their own time. They did a nice job on it but there are signs of casting cleanups. at the base.
