Looking for 360 pistons that can be ran at a zero deck height. From what I've read, engine quest has a cylinder head that has the LA intake manifold bolt pattern. Are these a decent cylinder head?

They WERE excellent, however haven't been available for a couple of years now; unless you get lucky and find a set that someone has hoarded...
The new EQs aren't as good (although not bad as a straight up replacement head for Magnums), aren't available with the LA intake pattern, and are made in China (originals were manufactured in Australia).

KB 107s fell into my block at .012 below deck. I had the decks cut for Zero-deck, I ran them like that with an .028 gasket for several months (with the Mopar 292/292/108 cam) with closed chamber alloy heads. At this time the engine was running
a Q of .028/11.3Scr/Dcr of 8.6/CCP of 175psi according to the Wallace, but my compression gauge actually read a bit more.

At the first regularly scheduled teardown/inspection, I found the .028 gaskets migrating towards the valley, but not yet leaking. So I cut the decks rough to retain the gasket and the pistons popped out .005 to .007 above deck. And I got rid of that 292 cam. So now I installed the .039 FelPros for a
new Q of .033/ Scr of 10.95/ Dcr of 8.95/ CCP of 184psi with the new smaller cam. I ran it like this for several years until the Lobes fell off that cam.
So in 2004, I took it apart for the last time since First Assembly in fall of 1999. and with the new, one size bigger cam, the CCP dropped to 178psi, and all else stayed the same.
Thruout this and to this day, this combo has never on the street run anything other than 87E10. And always with full-timing of 32/34 all in at 3200/3400.
Hope that helps
