plastic exhaust manifold trays 273 drivers exhaust manifold

I saw an engine on a 66 barracuda formula S at the Indy Mecum auction last week. It had 2 hard plastic trays that sat on top of the drivers manifold that protected the spark plug boots from heat. Has anyone else seen these or know where to source them? I've never seen them before. I should have taken a pic but didn't think about it. Thanks.

They are metal not plastic. I don't think they are repo-ed

The later 340 versions MIGHT be different than the 273 version but here is a link to get you started

Our 67 had them, I've got one somewhere in a drawer, Dana is correct in that they're metal.

273 is different than 340 due to port size, 273 below.

Looks like they are 70s factory replacements.

OLD plug wire might have needed them but I dont see modern wires needing them.

But for authenticity I get it

That number first shows up in 1970, the original 67s are 2463264 and do not have the web between the guards.

I have a set that I believe came off of a 318. At least I pulled them from a 318. Maybe they weren’t original to the engine. I recall that mine look a little different than the ones pictured. I’ll get some pics when I get home.

This has been posted before. I think there are some other numbers out there but if it looks like one of these the it is for the years that the form matches.

The non-340 ones.

Thanks for the info everyone. I use the high temp wire protectors that slide on anyways. It's nice to know they are out there.

I didn't realize they were built right onto the gasket itself.

I think I'm gonna remove the one on my 273...
It gets in the way and modern wires probably don't require them anyway.
