Going in tomorrow (14 Feb) to have a plate put in my leg. I broke it in 3 places on the 7th. Hope it reduces the pain because 10MG OXYCODONE every4-5 hours isn't cutting it.:banghead::protest:

Just wait until you can tell 24 hours before it rains...

It's more accurate than the weather man.
 
nutty idk if u have ever had ur legs cut on b4 but i have had both cut on if u have any?'s or just get down cuz u cant walk give me a yell man my friends here got me though his last one .. i can help if u need it

Maybe you need some of that medical cannibus to help kill the pain. Here is how to get a prescription from your doctor. And I don't mean Dart_Doctor. LOL!

broke fibula back in 2004, got two pieces of plate and 13 screws....in right leg...still there after all these years...

worst part was having the cast on for 6 weeks.
 
Good luck, I take both of the oxys, tin for maintenance and done for the break thru pain. Has gotten old.
 
I had the one in my head replaced after almost thirty five years with a polymer type.my neurologist put me on a patch system called Butrans lasts seven days works a lot better then the Oxys.

Never had my legs worked on but I've had a spinal fusion so I understand what its like to be incapacitated for a while.

know where your at im on my way to doctor im recovering from hip replacement dont know why it had to be redone last one was only in for 20 years maybe this one will last as long try not to take too many pills i like cannibus better got several plates pins below knee amputation spinal fusion all from rolling a 67 formula s cuda 30 years ago but still love mopars sandy
 
:banghead::violent1::protest::sad11: I developed a blister on my ankle bone (the part I broke) from swelling and the splint they put on my leg so they said I have to wait for that to heal before the surgery. :angryfir: So it's delayed till wed the 22nd at least:angry5:
 
Is that going to be a new aftermarket steel plate or one from a donor leg??? Will it be welded in and covered in bondo??

I'm going stir crazy, I can't even sit up to work at the computer for very long before my leg swells up till it's painful. About the only thing I can do is crochet and last week I had no idea how!:blob:I'm sleeping in one of those beds that lets you raise the head and/or the foot and it still was not enough so I raised the foot of the bed frame 6"and now it isn't to bad except getting in or out!:banghead:

Thanks for the update, being laid up is awful. Learning to crochet, I am impressed, few people would think to do that. How about a small afghan to keep in your car to keep the chill off your passenger?

Sounds like a plan to me.....hopefully on your next appointment it gets taken care of.....
