Hey guys and gals. Its been a while since my last post cause now i am working two jobs 7 days a week... plus going to high school so yeah not much free time. But... one the way home one night I spotted a Mopar for sale. Yes a Mopar.... but no... not an A-body.

Try a 1970 Chrysler 300 with a 440 motor, automatic trans, 73,000 original miles, power steering, no A/C, black interior, dark blue paint (not sure the code), with lil body damage. Only 3 rust holes... only on the quarter panels and no bigger then a half dollar coin, driver side door needs to be re-fitted, both fenders have minor dents, and hood needs to be re fitted. The big kicker, it is a driveable car for a grand total price of $1000 dollars!

I love my 73 Dodge Dart Swinger but I had to put it on hold for a while to get this great deal. No worries though I plan to have both the Chrysler and Dodge done by June this coming year and take them both to nationals. So see you there gals and guys!

It could land up as good a deal as what I got.Mrmopartech
Now if you want to talk about a deal, call me and I can tell you all what you can do with that car your going to get,Mrmopartech

He he he, good thing I'm not there. I'd scoop it up, get the grive train and part the rest for money back. Install said 440 in small car and run like hell.

My brother is a big C-body guy,he has a 72 Newport 2-door hardtop he just built a 440 stroker for it, should make around 600 H.P.

Hahaha... nice guys! Yeah my construction teachers first words was... throw that 440 in your Dart!!! But I am still going to be the outcast and just restore this Chrysler 300 and build the 318 for the Dart... just a dream to pop the hood at the local big night car cruise and people just go nutty over it just cause its a 318 that actually has power.

About the only thing I wanna do to the Chrysler is give it a lil rake... make the front end sit a lil bit lower you know. Put on a nice exhaust from the exhaust manifolds back and throw on some after market rims and tires, thats about it.

Plus mom is letting me redo the old '79 Dodge Army issued truck we have. Its a D-200 I believe. Keeping the original 318 in it for now but changing it to a 440 4 speed 4wd when I get the money. Keeping the Dana 60 and really low gears in it of course. So yea... Dodge Army truck to pull the Dart (drag car) and the Chrysler to cruise around and pick up some gals hahaha just playin. Starting my own mopar family!

Good luck finding a big-block truck bellhousing, they are pretty hard to come by,at least around here.
In the last 20 years i ran across 2!

Strange... what part of PA EvilScamp you live in? Doesnt matter what bell housnig I find as long as it matches with the motor and I dont need to cut the frame up to fit it. Screw the floor where the trans is... if I need to modify it I will hahaha. Heck throw in a 5 speed even... that would be cool.

By the way nice looking Black Beauty there Evil Scamp. I am thinking about painting mine a Dark Cherry Red with a black base coat then the red over it.
