was scouting Ebay and saw a couple of sets that say theyll fit something I have taht I need wires for and price didnt seem bad....
Anyone use MOROSO plug wires?
How bout Split Fire "Twin Core"? I know I wouldnt give a dime for Split Fire plugs.....
the ones I see are an 8 mm insulation size which in and of itself cant hurt...
Incedentally both sets I am looking at are for a slant 6 with "peanut" plugs ('75 or newer)

I got some 8mms on rock auto for my 340. About 40 bucks.. 1/2 price. they are blue streak. And x2 on **** fire plugs... ran them in my big block in the 90s.for a week or so Junk

so their wires aren't any better than their plugs, huh?
how bout the Moroso's I asked about? Alot of guys at the other /6 site, like the Magnecor ones but last I looked they're nuts on pricing..... I have a new set of Borg Warner somethin or other for it sitting here and Im sure they'll do "for now" but if I can find something better I'm up for it.
On my last /6 pickup, I had a weird issue with plug wires, and have never seen again since on anything else. I came home from work one nite, hit the shower and tried to leave to "go out" with my then girlfriend/now wife.. Crank, and crank, and crank/ and nothing... it had just run fine like a 1/2 hour before/ once it got almost dark I saw a spark jump from one of my wires to of all places, a heater hose/ Rubber hose... HOW? I have heard of watching under the hood after dark for bad wires of course.... but for (I think it was the coil wire, been many years ago) to short out along its mid section, to a RUBBER HOSE? Can you say "WTF"?

Wow! Maybe a coil spring in hose? But a heater hose , nah. Grease, transferring to ground? Man, that crazy.... not sure about the Moroso wires. They've been around a while...maybe owned by holley now, practically everyone else is. And holley does " overseas" builds...never done the split fire wires. Those 8mm silicone blue streaks been great to me, and, from a local standpoint, they run 80 bucks. So 40 from Rock auto.. a /6 has 2 less...maybe less $?
