Plug ??

I have a .30 over 440, .590 solid cam, around 13:1 compression, ported 906 heads. Which plugs should I run, what do you guys think? Just curious. Thanks.8)

If you run the right octane/timing you need only stock plugs#'s.jmo

fouling plugs? go hotter.

I would want the coldest rating that don't foul.

I just run the stock plug number too.

What are you using for an ignition system thats a lot of compression...

I'm using Autolites one range cooler than stock. I'm running 10.2:1 with a very small cam though, 213/218 @ .050 at high altitude.

Run NGK V-power, IMO they are one of the best for reading, with that compression, i would start out with a -7 on the heat range, i ran -6s with 10.3.1, just remember that with the NGKs the higher the #, the colder the plug, its vise-versa, so a -5 is hotter then a -6. A buddy of mine had a similar combo in his dart (440/906s/.590 cam/12.5 comp.) & ran -8 at the track.
