I made these up with crap laying around in the garage . A little cutting and welding........and a cost of $0 .
I have the Schumacher stock style mounts in my dart--and the engine definitely shakes around left to right---not REAL bad ...but i thought these will help .

The drivers side is a turnbuckle deal that i welded solid.
Passenger side is just a bracket i made from 1/4" steel --bolted to the block.

Make fun all you want........but some of us are low budget racers ! :iconbigg:

That's the way it was done back in the day before motor plates.You can still get a updated verson still today. Mark
 
I'd suggest you find an different ground point for your cable. That turnbuckle could work loose with the up/ down movement of the engine, and "leave ya hangin' "
 
the cable bolt is loctited + lock washers----- BUT , i agree ,it could work loose... i will move it . Got another month before the racing so I will add that to my longggggggg To-Do list . ;)
