Hey FABO, I plan on gasket matching and conservatively porting my edelbrock air gap this week. This will be my first port job and I noticed how the air gap has one side for the bottom runners and another side for the top runners. Im just worried about cutting into a runner accidentally.

Does anyone have any outlines or guidelines to port the intake? Thanks!

I’d cut the divider down about half way if it isn’t already, then port match it and go up the runner about 1 or 1-1/2” and then send it. You will likely not make it any better than it already is. In fact you could make it worse.

Port match and blend it up from there. That is a pretty good intake, perhaps the best dual plane available. If you want something beyond a port match and blend, i'd be talking to an expert, like IQ52. He ported my intake. While he is retired, i'm sure he can answer your question.
