Hi, I was wondering if there is anyone in southern California (I am in long beach) that knows how to work on brakes for a 1967 barracuda. I was told by the Clinic in Long Beach the brake booster and master cylinder need to be replaced, but they closed down before I could get the work done.

The car is all drum brakes, 273 2 barrel, power brakes.

I called classic industries, but they were no help in telling me which parts I need. Not sure who might have them available to purchase or what to get.

From what I can tell on the broadcast sheet, code 476 indicates HD drum brakes 10", but i was told the drums are 11".

Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Shane

any shade tree mechanic or small repair shop could probably do what you need. Find a small shop in your area with an older mechanic.

Your car most likely has 10" brakes. I don't know any shops down that way, I'm like 4 hours away. Drum brakes are relatively easy to work on, diagnosing the booster might be another. Like said any corner mechanic should be able to work on it, problem is most just want to swap out parts and replacement drums can be difficult to locate so yours might need to turned if there is life left and there is someone that can do it.
