Power brake connection

Advice is good and I need alot. This time it is about the power brake vacuum hose connection. The new street avenger carb., 770, has a connection for the power brake hose but I have used the manifold vacuum port at the rear of the intake, M1, below the carb. Is one better than the other or does it even matter which way the power brakes get vacuum? I didn't notice the vacuum port till about an hour ago. Will this hurt anything, performance, braking, etc.?

Either location should be fine, with no difference in performance or braking. The factory used a location on 1 of the rear runners, just make sure that you plug the unused port.
