I finally kick the virus I had and got a chance to work on the car again. What do I find? You guessed it, a problem.
I have a leak out of the front of the tranny I rebuilt. I think it is either the front seal or the pump housing seal. So out comes the tranny. I am not impressed.
Has anybody got any ideas on anything else I should look for?

This is a 360/727 combo that had no vibrations when I started it. It has only been started in park to this point.

That was the first place I looked OldVart. I was hoping. No such luck.

I am thinking that maybe the pump o-ring got pinched or rolled a bit when I installed the pump.

You might check your shift shaft seal. I had one leak on me it ran down the bellhousing and dripped in the middle. I thought it was the converter seal until I looked inside the bell with a flashlight and it was dry. So I kept looking until I noticed it was the shift shaft that was leaking. Something to look at.
