Bought this today and to my surprise wouldn't fit in my 4.030 bore. Has 4.030 stamped on it but measured it and it is 4.125. Do know if it is an oddball one or they have manufactured a whole heap like this.

I thought the recess on the bottom was supposed to go inside the bore. If it did, that would make the bore smaller making it impossible for the piston and rings to slide down past it and in to the bore.
Not one of my best days for sure!!!
